Rapid CPR is part of an authorized network of AHA Training Centers and Instructors that offers in-person classroom training and hands on skills sessions for the workplace. These group classes are offered at a discount and we can teach at your location!

 

Our employee training uses American Heart Association curriculum and teaches students how to respond to real-life emergency situations. Students will learn warning signs of heart attack, stroke and cardiac arrest and the skills needed to save a life. Make sure your employees are ready with one our AHA Heartsaver® courses.

 

Heartsaver® First Aid

  • Instructor-led course with video training (4 hours)

  • Teaches critical skills to respond to and manage the first few minutes of an emergency until EMS arrives.

  • Students will learn first aid rescue including severe choking, heart attack, stroke and seizures and a variety of environmental emergencies  such as excessive bleeding, burns, broken bones/sprains and allergic reactions to bites/stings including EpiPen® administration.

 

Heartsaver® CPR AED

  • Instructor-led course with video training (4 hours)

  • Teaches adult and child CPR and proper AED use (Automatic External Defibrillator), infant CPR and how to relieve choking in adults, children and infants.

  • Students will use the AHA’s ‘practice-while-watching’ technique, allowing the instructor to demonstrate techniques and observe and provide feedback to the students.

 

Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED

  • Instructor-led course with video training (4 hours)

  • Combined course teaches critical skills needed to respond to and manage emergencies until EMS arrives.

  • Students will learn first aid, choking relief and how to respond for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children and infants.

  • Students will use the AHA’s ‘practice-while-watching’ technique, allowing the instructor to demonstrate techniques and observe and provide feedback to the students.

 

Bloodborne Pathogens Course

  • OSHA approved training for workforce training

  • Highlights preventative measures to bloodborne pathogens and needlestick prevention.

  • Provides references that aid in recognizing workplace hazards associated with bloodborne pathogens.
