Instructor-led course with video training (4 hours)
Teaches critical skills to respond to and manage the first few minutes of an emergency until EMS arrives.
Students will learn first aid rescue including severe choking, heart attack, stroke and seizures and a variety of environmental emergencies such as excessive bleeding, burns, broken bones/sprains and allergic reactions to bites/stings including EpiPen® administration.
Heartsaver® CPR AED
Instructor-led course with video training (4 hours)
Teaches adult and child CPR and proper AED use (Automatic External Defibrillator), infant CPR and how to relieve choking in adults, children and infants.
Students will use the AHA’s ‘practice-while-watching’ technique, allowing the instructor to demonstrate techniques and observe and provide feedback to the students.
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED
Instructor-led course with video training (4 hours)
Combined course teaches critical skills needed to respond to and manage emergencies until EMS arrives.
Students will learn first aid, choking relief and how to respond for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children and infants.
Students will use the AHA’s ‘practice-while-watching’ technique, allowing the instructor to demonstrate techniques and observe and provide feedback to the students.
