These courses are designed for healthcare providers caring for patients in prehospital and in-facility environments.

Prehospital first responders could include EMT’s, paramedics, firefighters and police officers.

The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver® courses are intended for individuals with little or no medical training and need a course completion card for their job, regulatory guidelines (ex. OSHA) or other requirements. They can be taken by anyone who wants to feel prepared in an emergency situation.
